How to Install ExtremeROM Nexus (Full Guide)

⚠️ WARNING:

  • This will WIPE your device completely

  • Make backups of everything before proceeding

  • Proceed at your own risk — this is for advanced users only


✅ What You Need

Before flashing ExtremeROM Nexus, prepare the following:

  • 📱 A Samsung phone with unlocked bootloader

  • 💻 A computer with:

    • ADB & Fastboot installed

    • Odin3 (latest version)

    • Samsung USB drivers

  • 📦 Files required:

    • ExtremeROM Nexus ZIP

    • Repartitioner.zip (some devices)

    • Cleaner.zip (some devices)

    • Hotfix ZIP (if using ROM v2.0)

    • Odin BL/CP files or Odinpacks for your device

📲 Instructions by Device Series


📱 S10 Series (S10e, S10, S10+, S10 5G)

  1. Flash BL + CP via Odin:

    • Open Odin

    • Load the Odin Pack into the AP slot

    • Disable Auto Reboot

    • Start flashingAn example of how you flash the TAR archives with Odin 

  2. Reboot to Recovery:

    • Hold Power + Vol Down + Bixby

    • As screen turns off, quickly switch to Vol Up + Power + Bixby to enter TWRP

  3. In TWRP:

    • Tap WipeFormat Data → type yes

    • Navigate to the wipe buttonPress format data 

    • Then perform a Factory Reset

    • Type in yes
    • Reboot Recovery again

  4. ADB Sideload Prep:

    • Tap AdvancedADB Sideload → swipe to begin

    • Swipe to start adb sideload
    • On your PC, run:

      adb sideload repartitioner.zip
      
    • Installation GIF tutorial
    • Once done, device reboots to recovery

  5. Sideload Cleaner:

    adb sideload cleaner.zip
    
  6. Sideload ExtremeROM:

    adb sideload ExtremeROM-Nexus-[your_device_model].zip

  7. (Optional) If on v2.0 ROM:

    adb sideload hotfix.zip
    
  8. Tap Reboot System and wait for boot.


📱 S20 / Note20 / S21 / S22 Series

  1. Flash stock BL and CP via Odin (use USERDATA slot if using OdinPack).

  2. Reboot into TWRP or custom recovery.

  3. In recovery:

    • WipeFormat Data → type yes

    • Then Factory Reset

    • Reboot Recovery

  4. Use ADB Sideload to flash:

    adb sideload ExtremeROM-Nexus-[your_device].zip
    
  5. Tap Reboot System

Note: These newer models don’t require repartitioner or cleaner zips, unless explicitly instructed.


🧠 Tips & Notes

  • ❗ Do NOT dirty flash over other ROMs.

  • ✅ You can update from older ExtremeROM Nexus builds without wipe, unless stated otherwise.

  • 🧼 Flash cleanly if changing major versions (like v2.0 to v3.0).

  • 🧩 Use correct Odinpacks from trusted sources only.

  • 🔌 Use original USB-C cable to avoid sideload errors.

  • 🔥 First boot may take 5–10 minutes — don’t panic.


🆘 Troubleshooting

Problem Solution
Bootloop Format data again, reflash ROM
No sideload Check ADB drivers, use good cable
Stock recovery loads Odin flash failed, reflash TWRP
Device not detected Install USB drivers, use adb devices to confirm
